Always the sea

You cannot avoid being inspired. This tune was improvised under the influence of daily walks at the beach, experiencing different yet wonderful combinations of colors and sounds every time.

Constrained and improvised

Once again, this is a break from more complex works, improvised and recorded on-the-fly. The process seems facilitatd by the (very) strict limitations 8 instruments and 8 ‘scenes’. But it seems this was the remedy of my years-old options paralysis, and even enabled me to improvise and finish things instantly.

And a lot of luck

These wonderful scenes by Yaroslav Shuraev were the topmost result in Pexels when I searched for ’night beach’. The site auto-previewed the videos as I was listening to the final cut of the audio - and it was a magical fit, even matching the odd 5/8 and 7/8 time signatures of this tune. Do you agree?
